NOTHING BUT SEA & SKY - UNE NUIT NOMADE

In his famous collection 'Leaves of Herbs', Walt Whitman writes a poem on Montauk where his contemplation leads him to quote these few words 'Nothing, but sea and sky'. In Montauk, also called The End, the world s' stop in winter. The sky is veiled in white pallor and the breath of the blizzard sprinkles the beach with snowflakes. The rough sea gives the impression of hatching a large cotton field.
