LAST SEASON - MEO FUSCIUNI

Last Season was born from a trip to Sweden, in a place far from the world. In those days of peace, beauty and friendship, I rediscovered, for a moment, that pure feeling that is our destiny: to always go deeper into things, to live them, understand them and enjoy them, to venture into life. This depth is told through this fragrance, which lets only nature speak. Last Season recounts my first steps in that untouched place; it was a warm August morning, the aromatic notes describe the arrival on the island of the mosses. Here everything is submerged and, like ancient lunar presences, the marine plants bind us to the water, laid upon the dark rocks of the Baltic. And then our slow and respectful steps, guests of this green, earthy and damp space. The sun warms the bark of the trees; the animals look at us from their burrows, only humans, at the heart of nature. I crossed all the seas to see you, traveled through all the forests to speak to you, to listen to your scent, Nature. And now that I am here, I am speechless, I close my eyes and listen to your essence, in this last season.

Last Season was conceived, created and arranged while listening to the album Dark Wood by David Darling during each of these phases and reading Walden by H.D. Thoreau.
