Perfumer's Words
I wanted to translate the painting "The Bath of Artemis," which Jean-David had told me about, into an olfactory experience. I worked on a fresh, dewy rose petal fragrance to evoke the wet skin of Artemis and her nymphs. A note of fig and mossy woody nuances represent the forest and its velvety green carpet that surrounds them and protects them from the first rays of sun, hidden from view... » Suzy Le Helley
