I am sitting in a garden in Capri, while below, the sea crashes against the high cliffs. In my hand, a glass of very cold limoncello; beside me, freshly cut figs and sun-ripened tomatoes picked in the garden, their green-leaf aroma still lingering on my hands. In the warm air, jasmine and rose blossoms mingle with the scent of rosemary from the flower beds. Lower down, a soothing depth of vetiver, cedar, and soft musk. The fragrance is warm, delicate, and comforting — like a peaceful summer moment in a garden overlooking the sea.
