ROSE SAPPHIRE - BOADICEA

Rose is a key element in many Boadicea the Victorious fragrances, offering a range of impressions: from green apple, lemon and loukhoum to chocolate, violet and honey. The animalic Turkish rose in Rose Sapphire is wrapped in fragrant spices and the burnt liquorice leather of immortelle, noble neroli, and a generous dose of hedione that adds a shimmering glow, especially to the rose with lipstick-red reflections. In the base, the rose softens, becoming delicately powdery, beautifully complemented by jasmine, lily and magnolia, and lifted by cardamom and the original addition of turmeric. This distinctive spice is perfectly used in Rose Sapphire, settling like a sunset and making way for a slow rise of myrrh, benzoin and sooty cypriol to reveal the crystalline facets of the rose.
