Imperial Wood

This is the scent of rustic Swedish life. This revolutionary perfume extract contains an exceptional concentration of aromatic compounds. This high concentration contributes not only to its unique character but also to its exceptional composition. For the first time, a fragrance combines natural cocoa and Indonesian agarwood, subtly present in most perfumes. The top notes are Damask rose, thyme, tobacco leaves, and a touch of woody and spicy saffron. Incense, combined with cardamom, cinnamon sticks, and tonka bean, blends perfectly with vanilla and cocoa. The whole is enhanced by a final touch of sandalwood. The base of the perfume is composed of Indonesian agarwood, leather, and amber wood.
Perfumer Ibrahim Al Zouabi was inspired by traditional 17th-century rustic Swedish life to create the composition of Imperial Wood, notably during banquets where cocoa cakes were found, paired with a generous dose of cardamom and spices. The availability of various spices and natural flowers was essential for the Swedish community of the time. These ingredients were used during pleasant or bitter occasions. Imperial Wood expresses these scenes with a fragrance that transports you to a prosperous era.
