ÉDIT(h), a niche fragrance house born from Japanese craftsmanship
ÉDIT(h) traces its origins to a rare heritage: that of Nikko Jirushi, founded in 1905 and known for the traditional production of shuniku inks used for Japanese stamps. From this century-old tradition came a unique idea: to reveal the harmony between red stamp culture and niche perfumery. The brand draws on fragrances of Asian origin historically linked to this craft, reinterpreted in a contemporary style.
The ÉDIT(h) olfactory world, between history, material, and precision
Each ÉDIT(h) fragrance is part of a craft continuum. The fragrances, materials, and production processes draw directly on the expertise developed for more than a century by Nikko Jirushi. The composition is not limited to the juice: the packaging, the texture of the materials, and the precision of the finishes all contribute to the overall experience. The house highlights an aesthetic that is both minimalist and rich in meaning.
Kentaro Kuzuwa, artistic direction and a multicultural vision
At the helm of ÉDIT(h), Kentaro Kuzuwa embodies this meeting of tradition and modernity. Having returned to Japan to take over the family business Moriyama INC., he combines industrial rigor, respect for traditional crafts, and an international outlook. This approach inspires the creation of ÉDIT(h), where ancestral techniques and contemporary standards coexist in balance.
