Highlighting the precious species of wood harvested sustainably for the first time in the history of perfumery in the Daintree rainforest, in tropical Queensland, Silky Woods is a delightful and delicate blend, but also very sensual, that captures the sensory experience of Australia.

A modern scent of suede, exotic vanilla, and smoked tobacco leaves, Goldfield & Banks has added refined essences of saffron, incense, ylang ylang, and native sandalwood.

The result of this new creation is the scent of a journey in search of the ultimate olfactory treasures of Australia, a journey that recalls the first visit of the botanist Joseph Banks to Australia in 1770. He discovered exotic plants previously unknown to science, just as the founder of Goldfield & Banks, Dimitri Weber, has made it his mission to celebrate Australian native ingredients since he launched his luxury perfume house in 2016.

Exploring modern scents and sensuality, Dimitri Weber was fascinated by agarwood plantations in the tropics of the country. Captivated by the complexity of planting techniques and the sustainable methods applied to the harvesting and extraction of this precious and unique oil, he forged friendships with growers in the far north of Queensland.
