ABEL

ABEL.

Abel is a New Zealand house founded in Amsterdam by Frances Shoemack, a former winemaker, with a unique conviction: to create the world's finest natural perfume.

  • The name Abel refers to Abel Tasman, the Dutch adventurer:  a reference that says a great deal about the spirit of the house: exploring, discovering, going where others do not go.

From the very beginning, Abel has led the way in sustainability and transparency in the world of perfumes. The house is committed to using only plant-based ingredients and discloses its full ingredient lists:  a practice still rare in the industry. For Frances Shoemack, there is no valid reason why perfume houses should not switch to more environmentally friendly options.

Each Abel fragrance has a designer’s point of view and a unique scent signature: true 100% natural perfumes, with no compromises and no chemistry.  Compositions that prove a perfume can be both exacting, sincere, and responsible.
