REFLET SUR L'OKAVANGO - ELLA K

A JOURNEY INTO THE ARMS OF THE OKAVANGO DELTA
The Okavango, in Botswana, this “river that never reaches the sea” gives the region the appearance of a tree fallen on the sand, whose countless roots trace an aquatic labyrinth redrawn daily by the whims of the water. On the banks of these many waterways grows vegetation that unfolds all kinds of scents. From papyrus to acacia and including sycamores, this flora is an inexhaustible source of inspiration that feeds the imagination without ever satisfying it.

SONIA'S INSPIRATION
I wanted to create a perfume gui be an ode to acacia. I exalted its soft, honeyed side, I laced it with the sunny, powdery notes of woolly caper and the green notes of the papyrus lining the delta’s shores. The woody notes of sycamore, mopanes and the fruity notes of marula close this composition and give the perfume a smooth, addictive touch.
