The HISTORY: Created for the Mughal Emperors of India in the early 17th century, the Peacock Throne was one of the most opulent treasures in history. The pure gold platform was covered with enamel, precious stones, and a double peacock tail set with rubies, emeralds, pearls, and diamonds. At its center was the Koh-i-Noor diamond, the largest known diamond in the world.

The Perfume: The perfume opens with a bright Indian jasmine, Egyptian iris, and pink pepper pearls. At its heart lies the Taif rose, one of the oldest cities in Arabia, with its ruby glow, full and extravagant. In lighter notes, the rich warmth comes from princely patchouli, sparkling vetiver, and bronzed vanilla.
