DREAMLIKE ROMANCE AT LAKE COMO
On the slopes of Monte Rosa this ode to passion was born, evoked by black vanilla orchid blended with oleander and magnolia. This sensory delight opens with a gourmand touch of marshmallow, saffron and petitgrain before carrying us among the sequoias along Lake Como’s shores with woody incense notes escaping from millennial churches.

SONIA'S INSPIRATION
For Orchid K I wanted to create a fragrance around this black vanilla orchid I discovered on Monte Rosa in Italy, which I paired with the flowers that lined Lake Como—magnolias, jasmines, oleanders and wild roses… I added the gourmand notes typical of vanilla cannoli and marshmallows served like a cloud on a skewer during our romantic dinners. I then sealed the perfume with the majestic woody notes of the century-old sequoias along the banks, and tendrils of incense drifting from the heavy doors of the nearby churches.
