As the sun sets over the dense rainforest, civet cats emerge warily from the thickets. Beneath a carpet of narcotic flowers, a handful of coffee berries pepper the ground. The humid air is heavy with the aroma of moss that penetrates every crevice, but the musky smell of civet cats dominates; their marked territory daring to enter it at one's own risk and peril.

Zoologist Civet pays homage to the age-old ingredient, the civet, as well as the chypre scents of yesteryear—scents that refused to be intimidated by raw, seductive, animalistic musks. Civet is a whimsical and complex infusion mixed with mystery. It opens with a spicy floral accord, crossed by dark coffee tones. Slowly it prowls forward, unraveling base notes of leather, moss and vanilla that combine with distinctive civet musk to create a disconcerting and sophisticated scent with the promise of a sultry date night.
