THE HISTORY : Known as the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Amber Room was presented to Peter the Great by the King of Prussia. Glittering at the heart of Catherine Palace near St. Petersburg, the room was completely covered with amber panels backed by gold leaf and mirrors. When lit with more than five hundred candles, it was said to shine like a trapped sun and molten gold. Created by fusing amber, Cognac and honey together, its history and brilliance inspired the creation of this perfume.
