VERDIGRIS - KINETIC

GREEN RUST VERDIGRIS is the color of the patina covering copper surfaces. Its noble green, interspersed with gray spots, evokes the salt blown by the wind from the ocean onto the roofs of Mediterranean houses. Here, the classic freshness of citrus fruits has been given only a secondary role - where the proud Italian lemons and oranges are usually the center of attention, they are here just a discreet background. VERDIGRIS deconstructs the classic chypre and cleverly reassembles its traditional elements. The silky bouquet of flowers - freesia, rose, and mignonette - is sprinkled with spicy notes of nutmeg and coriander. On their background, the wet and shimmering calone is transparent, almost white. Not sweet, but appetizing. Expressive, but not openly woody. Ethereal, but resonant. VERDIGRIS, an icy salt like snow.

A sea without blue, is it possible? VERDIGRIS plays with the notion of seawater on a whole new level, shifting the concept towards land. Here, the sea is born at the intersection of the sky, the air, and the sun.
