As the golden sun melted into the Atlantic, Salvador de Bahia revealed itself through layers of scents and sounds. The starting point of the legendary Cacao Route, this vibrant city led perfumer Alexandra Carlin to lush tropical forests, cacao plantations and the lively rhythm of Bahian life.

From the moment she arrived, Alexandra was captivated. She wandered through cacao plantations where the air was heavy with the bittersweet aroma of ripe pods and damp earth. The warm breeze carried whispers of the ocean, blending with the heat of the sun, sweet spices and a creamy sweetness that lingered like a memory in the shade of the forest.
