For the Roses on Ice and Angels' Share duo, Kilian draws inspiration from liqueurs that reflect his Hennessy heritage. Roses on Ice evokes his wife's favorite drink, Hendricks on the rocks: Hendricks gin infused with Bulgarian rose and cucumber with a hint of lime. The fragrance is the result of a collaboration with the famous German perfumer Franck Voelkl, known for enhancing the woody note in his creations. The ode to gin is present throughout the olfactory experience of Roses on Ice, with the freshness of cucumber and juniper berries at the opening. The centifolia rose in the heart notes rounds out the icy side of the fragrance. The musky and woody base recalls the lively and sharp character of the spirit.
