PIANO SANTAL - L'ORCHESTRE PARFUM
A NOT SO PEACEFUL DREAM
Waking up inside a piano. Whiffs of white sheets & sleepy skin in a surreal and musical wooden cathedral.
A woody white dream. Lascivious, pheromonal, addictive.
Main notes: Sandalwood, cedar, white musks, warmed skin, bergamot, ambroxan, warm milk, cumin
Jean Jacques x Edouard Ferlet
Jean Jacques :
A great perfumer passionate about music, Jean was the ideal person to give an olfactory life to the dreamy and woody Piano Santal. For Jean, perfume is an essential emotional material, sometimes synonymous with comfort, attachment, or protection. It is a true pleasure to have met such a singular and passionate artist, and to have had the chance to experience the creation of this major work of our orchestra.
Edouard Ferlet :
Edouard Ferlet began piano at the age of 7 and studied classical music at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, then at the regional conservatory while attending several jazz workshops. He went to study jazz in Boston and learned from renowned teachers. He played for years in numerous prestigious projects exploring notably jazz and classical repertoires, creating sublime fusions and a reference work praised by critics and the public. He was named Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters in January 2010.
