Open Sesame

Sesame and grapefruit coexist and merge like the landscape from which they are inspired, the high plain of Kedu. Nestled on the island of Java, in the heart of Indonesia, this land is at the same time fertile, luxuriant and volcanic. The generosity of nature and the eruptive proximity of the Merapi volcano echo each other, as do the promise of sesame and the burst of grapefruit. The same vital force, the same overflowing energy flow from one to the other, giving the composition its full scope.
